While the last 100 years will be known as the century of discovery, we look to the 21st century as a period of unparalleled translation. Investigators and physicians stand poised to translate the knowledge and expertise gained in genomics, proteomics, molecular biology and countless other areas into the medicines, treatments and diagnostic tools of the future.
CTSA Research Resources, with its nationally-recognized Clinical Research Unit (former GCRC) and 14 Translational Technology Cores will provide the facilities, the highly trained staff, the dedicated pharmacy, nutrition and lab services and the underlying infrastructure to fuel Mayo Clinic’s translational efforts. With centralized core infrastructure in place, research grant funds can be dedicated to advancing the science and fulfilling our mission of predicting, preventing and curing human disease.
